About Us

We make one thing, for the eight hours nobody else is selling to.

Every product made for sore feet is made for the day.

Insoles go in your shoes. Orthotics correct your step. Compression socks hold your arch while you're standing on it. Supportive trainers cushion the strike. All of them are built for the hours you're awake and upright — and every one of them is sitting by the front door while the thing that actually hurts you is happening.

Because here's what people notice and rarely have explained to them: the worst pain of the day arrives in the first three seconds of it.

The thing nobody told her

When you fall asleep, your foot relaxes into a pointed position — like a ballerina pointing her toe. The band of tissue along the bottom of your foot goes slack and short. Your body spends the night doing what bodies do with slack tissue: patching it up. But it patches it up short.

Then you stand up. That band is pulled out to full length in a fraction of a second, and the night's repair tears open.

That is the stabbing first step. That is why it fades after a few minutes and comes back the next morning anyway. And it is why nothing you bought for the daytime ever finished the job — because it was never present for the part that matters.

Doctors already know this. It's the whole reason night splints exist: rigid boots that strap your foot flat so it can't point downwards while you sleep.

The idea is right. The boot is the problem.

Read any forum thread about them and you'll find the same thing over and over. Nobody stops using a night splint because it didn't help. They stop because it pressed on their toes, because it caught on the covers, because they're a side sleeper, because they woke at 2am and took it off and never put it on again. People aren't giving up on the treatment. They're giving up on the hardware.

So we made the soft version

Solava is a compression sleeve you pull on like a sock and then sleep in.

It holds the arch and keeps the foot from flopping all the way down while you sleep. No plastic. No boot. No straps to tighten. You can lie on your side, roll over, get up in the night and get back in. Most people stop noticing it's there within a few minutes.

You put it on at bedtime and take it off in the morning. That's the whole product.

What we don't say

There is no breakthrough here. No patented technology, no trademarked strap system, no proprietary compression zones, no funded research study we can wave at you.

We're aware that everyone else in this category is claiming one. We've chosen not to, because we'd be making it up — and because in a market where every brand is escalating its medical claims, we think the honest description of a simple physical object is the thing worth reading.

We will never tell you that Solava heals, cures, treats or ends plantar fasciitis. We don't know that, nobody selling you a sleeve knows that, and anyone who tells you otherwise is telling you something they can't stand behind. What we will tell you is what the sleeve physically does, what it's made of, and what it feels like at 3am — and then we'll let you find out for yourself, for two months, at our risk rather than yours.

Who this is for

The person we built Solava for is on her feet for a living.

She's a nurse, a teacher's aide, a care worker, a hygienist, a hospitality supervisor. Ten- or twelve-hour days, mostly standing, often on hard floors. She has had heel pain for somewhere between eight months and four years. She has already bought insoles, probably custom orthotics, supportive shoes she describes as making her look like an idiot, an arch band, a massage ball, a night splint that's now in a cupboard.

She has stopped mentioning it to people because she's tired of being asked whether she's tried stretching.

She isn't looking for a cure any more. She's looking for a way to get through tomorrow.

If that's you: you were never non-compliant and you were never a lost cause. You were handed the right idea in the wrong hardware.

What we promise, in plain words

  • Sixty nights to decide. Wear them for two months. If you're not glad you bought them, send them back and we'll refund what you paid for them. You don't have to keep them pristine.
  • A free size exchange, as many times as it takes. Sizing is the single most common thing people get wrong with these, and it isn't your fault. Wrong fit, wrong feel, too tight — tell us and we'll send a different size, with nothing to pay for the replacement or its delivery.
  • A real delivery window. 7–12 business days, told to you honestly up front, with tracking. If your parcel stalls, we replace it or refund you without making you prove anything.
  • A person on the other end of the email. Write to solava765@gmail.com and you get an answer from us within one business day. Not a ticket number.
